My favorite vacation was when my family went on a cruise to Alaska. We left from Seattle and went out to sea for seven days. We did some fun excursions, but the best was going on a sea-plane. A sea-plane takes off and lands on water. We flew over forests in Alaska and the best part was landing on a lake out in the middle of nowhere and being able to walk out on the wings on the plane. While in Juneau, we rode with a team of sled dogs. There was no snow since it was the middle of August, but we got to see how they train on land. Overall, it was just an amazing experience that a lot of people will never get to do.
My dream vacation would be to travel somewhere in Europe, either England, France, or Germany. It would be cool to see the different cultures and see how Europeans live differently and similarly to us. There are a lot of great sites to see in Europe and I would like to experience them in person. I would especially like to go to France because I am taking French in school and would like to see the things that I am learning about in class.
